a lament.

Fragments · Poetry

in the quiet spaces between heartbeats,

echoes of your absence linger,

a shadowed silhouette against memory's canvas.

fingers trace the ghost of your touch,

once an intimate dance of skin on skin,

now a spectral imprint etched in solitude.

emotions untethered,

scattered remnants of a love dismantled,

the wreckage of promises left unfulfilled.

the resonance of your laughter,

a distant echo in the hollow corridors of solitude,

haunting the vacant rooms of what once was.

each word, a whispered elegy to moments lost,

now reduced to the dissonance of silence.

a memory bank of shared moments,

now haunting of a bygone connection.
